Adventures with a convection oven

I finally have a tabletop convection oven! Got it
in a Korean store. Experimented with various cuts
of meat e.g. Thinly sliced beef, beef ribs,
chicken wings. So far, the results are good. I
like that it's easy to clean (has a glass
housing), fat drips away while cooking and cooks
quick. Obviously, I've not done anything complex
yet but all in due time...

Finally I get to workout again!!! My body's sore and I'm tired but I keep in mind that this is good for me.

Rough week...

Been going through my computer and setting
up my gallery. It's been long hours of basically
going through photos and deleting stuff I no
longer need. Been sleeping very late and waking
up early. Been missing some workouts because of
that. But it's over now... And I can get some much
needed rest.

Boring weekend!

Spent the weekend upgrading the computer. While my
data was safe and backed up multiple times, the
new Operating system needed some tweaks. Not
really hard to do but it's just tedious. Oh well...
I'm not done yet but the hard part is over with...
And there are some minor annoyances in the
finished product but it's manageable.

Financial disasters waiting to happen

Stories from the trenches

- Guy asks this person out and the 1st thing she
asked the guy was "So what car do you drive?".
(The word "Gold digger" comes to mind...)

- This girl was actively pursuing this guy. The
guy was financially sound and fairly successful.
Turns out the girl had $20,000 in credit card
debt.... (Gold digger? )

- The girl decides to buy a place without
considering her financial capabilities. She buys
a place where more than half of her salary goes
to paying the monthly mortgage. This does not
include assessment, maintenance fees etc.

Happy Halloween!

Spent the day cleaning up and tossing out stuff I
no longer need. I'm such a packrat; I've got some
stuff from 10 years ago that I kept, thinking that
it'll come in handy. That day never came... So to
make more space and de-clutter my life, I've
passed it on.

And guess what? Less clutter in my life gives me
a liberating feeling!
