Homebrew bike lights

PARTS NEEDED:
1 - Hose clamp (11/16" - 1 1/2" Stainless steel) - Ace hardware - $1.49
1 - 32 LED Mini Mite flashlight (American Science & Surplus Item #38706) - $9.75 - http://www.sciplus.com/singleItem.cfm/terms/14738
1 - Small Rachet Clamp (American Science & Surplus Item #93152) - $1.95 - http://www.sciplus.com/singleItem.cfm/terms/12922

(OPTIONAL)
Old rubber sheets e.g. inner tube (free if you can
find it lying around. Or you can use any rubber
sheet of decent thickness like those rubber grip
jar opener http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/rubber-grips-jar-opener-by-fox-run )

STEPS:
- Assemble the flashlight

- Use the hose clamp to lash the flashlight on to
the rachet clamp. Optionally, place the rubber
sheet between the hose clamp and the flashlight
to protect the flashlight's finish.

- Clamp the rachet clamp onto the bike handlebar.
Adjust the direction as desired. Optionally,
insert rubber sheets between the clamp and the
handle bar to protect the handlebar's finish.

NOTES:
- Total amount spent - Less than $15
- You can use rechargeable batteries, if desired.
- It's removable and "attach-able" in seconds.
- You can also use the assembly in various
situations e.g. clamp to a table or tent pole
for camping etc.
- I could've probably used a cheaper flashlight
but this particular flashlight was, in my opinion
"more bang for the buck".
- Was also thinking of attaching to the bike
helmet. But with so many types of helmets out
there, designing a clamp might be too much work.
